Trawler Wars, or Fraud of XX Century:
“A Fraud Of The Century” — in such a way chairman of The State Committee of Fisheries Yuri Sinelnik characterized the building of ber-boat charter ships for Russia by “Roscomflot”. There were 79 built in all, 30 of which were gone without leaving a trace, the rest went to different commercial structures and used Russian fishing resources free of charge; they have not settled with the budget of Russia on its promissory notes to ship makers since 1993.
Fishing Mob:
“We Put Primorye under Special Control” — an interview with Yury Sinelnik, chairman of The State Committee of Fisheries, given to reporter of “Golden Horn” Oleg Klimenko concerning the necessity of great changes in the fishing industry of the Primorsky region in connection with the sharp criminalization of the fishing industry.
“Symbols of Petropavlovsk under Arrest” — detective story of Yaroslav Otrok (Kamchatka) about how the fishing company of Primorye “Poseidon” destroyed fishing company of Kamchatka “Rybholodflot” and misappropriated the best ships which were arrested in Korea…
Expansion of Primorye fishing oligarchs:
“Opposition Blames Governor of Primorye Nazdratenko and His Assistants in Breakdown of Primorye Fishing Industry” — as the opponents inform, on his conscience Eugeny Nazdratenko has the bancruptcy of Vladivostok base of trawl and refrigerate fleet, the biggest in Soviet Union (which even in 1996 had the highest catches in Russia), the breakdown of “Primorrybprom”, “Yuzhmorrybflot”, “Vostoktransflot”…
If Keep within Law:
“Blues Against Goskomrybolovstvo” — appeal of “Tikhookeansky vestnik” to the General Office of Public Prosecutor of Russian Federation regards Spanish-built supertrawlers given permission to fish in the Russian Economic Zone, that contradicts to the Russian laws concerning the priority right of Russian fishermen to harvest fishing resources of their own economic zone in contrast to ships of “Dalímoreproduct-Trawlers”, the owners of which are foreign juridical persons.
